Depending on configuration and legal regulations, our SPERBER products can be used as handheld thermal imaging sights or as target optics.
The Liemke SPERBER thermal scopes have been developed as multifunctional optics. Manufactured from high-strength aluminum ie. fiberglass-reinforced plastic, they are designed for use in demanding situations.
The 17 μm pixel pitch ceramic VOx thermal detector and 50 Hz frame rate, combined with the 1,280 x 960 QVGA OLED display, delivers sharp images in real time. The lens can be manually focused for optimum image sharpness.
Power is supplied by two or four replaceable CR123 batteries to provide a continuous operating time of up to four hours, or alternatively via an external USB power source.
Video and image files can be transmitted and recorded via cable.
