QUICK BURNISHING - COLD BURNISHING

Fluna Gun Black is a quick bluing (cold bluing) for the repair of bluing on rifle and pistol barrels.
It is also suitable for blackening small metal parts such as screw heads etc.

APPLICATION

First clean the damaged area thoroughly and degrease with Fluna GunDegreaser, a degreaser or with alcohol. The damaged area can also be reground with 1000 grit sandpaper or with an abrasive pad. Use strong adhesive tape to delimit the repair. Apply Fluna GunBlack thinly with a fine brush or cotton swab and let dry. Repeat the process several times until the desired degree of blackening has occurred. Then rinse the patch with water, dry and polish. Finally re-coat the repaired area with Fluna GunCoating.

Basically, Fluna Gun Black can also be applied to a cloth for larger areas and the area to be treated can then be colored with the cloth by repeated, regular "back and forth".
